"My favourite moment is when my cat comes to wake me up with a cuddle and purrs in my ears"
Lea is a super talented maker who lives in Finsbury Park with boyfriend Sam and cat Paddy.
She shares her passion between dinosaurs and cats - her Bowie cat jewelry is a must have.
She talked us through what inspires her at home and her creative rituals.
3 steps morning routine
My favorite moment is when my cat comes to wake me up with a cuddle and purrs in my ears.
If I have time I read the news with a cup of coffee in bed.
At that point I get up, dressed and ready - always rushing because I’m always late somehow!
The battle of the dinosaurs
3 steps evening routine
When I come home I make myself a cup of tea and snuggle up on the sofa. My cat wants a cuddle and I want one too.
Then I cook dinner, usually stews - I’m a veggie. I use the Yummly app when I want a proper meal, it’s great for inspiration.
I watch series on the sofa with Sam - we’re into Silicon Valley at the moment - until Paddy calls us for bedtime. He’s the real boss in this house.

Top 3 creative moments at home
I pimp up my furniture, repainting it to make it more colorful and fun. Orange and pink win!
I’m currently learning how to sew, with a book by Tilly and the buttons. There are some nice simple patterns for beginners, and it really inspires you to make your own clothes.
I have a passion for plastic dinosaurs and I’m always looking for new ones to add to my collection...!

Top 3 relaxing moments at home
When I’m home I just want to unwind: call friends, take a bath or cook a nice meal.
I love listening to True Crimes Garage podcasts to scare me at nights. Otherwise I listen to Women’s hour on Radio 4 to make Paddy a feminist!
I constantly browse and look up at other artists’ work online. I keep an eye on things that sparkle something in me.

Secret life hack
I use a flower pot to dry my cutlery so the water goes back into the sink through the drainage hole.
Most treasured possession
Rocky the triceratops is a birthday gift from Sam when we first met. He’s madly in love with Betty, the T-rex I got a few years later.

Worst pyjama set
All my sleeping outfits come from mismatch promotional tees and old washed down PJ - I don’t have anything half descent for a pyjama party.
Dream home outfit
It should be soft as a cloud, colourful - but not like I’m from a kawaii cartoon - and certainly not have the traditional pj cut - bah!
Culture's vulture - Lea's current recommandations:
Last series:
People just do nothing, from the BBC. It’s a mockumentary about the estate life, it’s full of clichés and it’s very funny.
Last book:
The Girl who saved the king of Sweden (2013) by Jonas Jonasson. It’s a truly witty story, unputdownable.
Last movie:
Last night I watched Napoleon Dynamite (2004) by Jared Hess. It’s about America’s lower class, it’s full of tiny stories set within a very kitsch decor. Loved it!
Last recipe:
Zaatar chickpea stuffed sweet potatoes - my kind of comfort food!
Last playlist:
Chronixx - His last album was launched when we were traveling to Jamaica last summer, blasting to every sound system. It kind of prolongs the holidays.

@aww.sam : I love the colors, it looks so fake but so pretty // @camillewalala: I genuinely adore her work!
